The ST LAURENT Tote takes its name from the iconic St Laurent Boulevard, a lively thread running through the heart of Montreal. Known locally as The Main Street , this street has long been a symbol of movement and mix—cultures crossing, stories colliding, new ideas born.
It's also where our flagship store is based. We walk this street daily and watch people flow in and out of cafés, small shops, galleries, and bookstores. Tourists stop by for a taste of the city, while locals treat it like home. It felt only right to name a bag after it—one that's as versatile, approachable, and dynamic as the street itself.
A second life, reimagined
Crafted from weather-resistant twill, originally designed for outdoor patio furniture, the ST LAURENT Tote is a study in thoughtful reuse. This excess fabric, meant to be discarded, was rerouted from the landfill and reimagined into something timeless. Paired with belt webbing salvaged from the automotive and aviation industries, this tote is a quiet powerhouse: clean lines, tough build, and truly sustainable.
