Named For

Jane Goodall’s revolutionary research on chimpanzees lead her to become an icon in conservation for the last 60 years. The Gombe Chimp Observation, which she started in 1960, is the world’s longest running continuous wildlife research project. Always driven by curiosity and determination, she continues to devote all of her time to advocacy on behalf of chimpanzees and the environment, travelling nearly 300 days a year. Goodall redefined species conservation to include the needs of local people and the environment, and images of her toting her camera around the jungle were the inspiration behind The GOODALL Camera Bag.
