We understand the Importance of a good pair of socks, especially for the adept of outdoor activities in Canadian winters. That is why we are very proud to present our newest items available just in time for the holidays; thermal socks.
We have partnered with a Canadian mill that specializes in cold weather knits and has been family run for 150 years. They have been challenging themselves to create the most durable, locally made sock with quality components and technical features to offer the best warmth for extreme weather.
Available in 5 color blends, the socks are made of 70% Italian Merino Wool, 25% Nylon and 5% spandex, which creates a durable product that provides comfort and warmth up to -30 ℃. Merino wool, unlike its itchy sheep wool alternative, has a lower micron width per strand, which makes it a versatile fiber that resists moisture to keep your feet dry and fresh even after hours of activities. Technical features include a full heavyweight cushion, double cuff, an arch support and an added reinforcement in the heel and toe (the impact zones of the foot) giving a superior fit, performance and durability.
At BEDI, we constantly strive to create pieces that balance comfort and aesthetic along with sustainability through durability. Partnering with family run mills in Canada with like-minded values allows us to expand into cold weather accessories that complement our outerwear offering with the utmost winter protection whilst contributing to the circular economy.
These thermal socks are the perfect thoughtful gift idea for your friends and family lounging around the cabin or out on the hills. Give the combined gift of sustainability and comfort this holiday season, or maybe be kind to your own feet for supporting you all year long.
