Visit BEDI at your own pace with a one-hour private shopping appointment, available on select days when our Montreal store is normally closed.
You’ll have the store to yourself and one-on-one help from Inder Bedi, founder and designer of BEDI Studios. It’s a chance to ask as many questions as you’d like, compare styles and fits, and get personal guidance directly from the person who designed each piece.
Private appointments are especially helpful if you’re not sure which style is right for you, have questions about warmth, fit or sizing, or simply prefer a calm, quiet shopping environment. If sleeve length is often an issue, Inder can also take your measurements for sleeve shortening.
And a little something extra: any coat purchased during your private appointment comes with a complimentary THEMIS recycled brass hanger.

What can I expect during my private shopping appointment?
When you arrive, Inder Bedi, founder and designer of BEDI Studios, will greet you at our Montreal store. The store will be closed to the public during your appointment, so you’ll have plenty of space and time to browse, ask questions and try things on at your own pace.
If you’re shopping for a coat, you’re welcome to try on as many styles as you’d like. Inder can help you compare fits, talk through where and how you expect to wear your coat, and help you narrow down the style that makes the most sense for you. You’re also welcome to browse our bags, accessories and other pieces during your visit.
Appointments can be held in either English or French.
Does the appointment cost anything?
No, our private shopping appointments are complimentary.
And as a little extra, any coat purchased during your appointment comes with a complimentary THEMIS recycled brass hanger.
How long is the appointment?
Private shopping appointments are scheduled for one hour.
That gives you plenty of time to browse, try things on and ask questions without feeling rushed. Because we’re a small team, Inder may need to return to the day-to-day running of the business once your scheduled hour is over, although you’re welcome to finish up your shopping if you need a few extra minutes.
How can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Your confirmation email includes buttons at the bottom to easily either reschedule or cancel your appointment if needed.
If your plans change, we simply ask that you make the change as soon as you can so the appointment time can be made available to someone else.
Will every style, colour and size be available to try on?
We generally have a wide selection available at the store, but we can’t guarantee that every style, colour or size shown online will be there during your appointment.
Items listed as preorder on our website are still being made, while anything marked sold out online is also sold out at the store. During our busy show season, particularly from mid-November through mid-December, some pieces may also be travelling to or from events.

Can you shorten the sleeves of my coat?
Yes. If coat sleeves are often too long for you, we offer sleeve shortening for a $50 alteration fee. Inder can take the necessary measurements during your appointment so the sleeves can be adjusted to suit you.
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to lengthen sleeves, so this service is best suited to customers who need them shortened.
Is there parking?
Our store is located on Saint-Laurent Blvd in Montreal, where paid street parking is available nearby. We recommend allowing yourself a little extra time to find parking before your appointment, particularly during busier periods.
