The exterior is crafted with Econyl®, an innovative luxury Italian nylon made from regenerated fishing nets.

We offer free shipping on orders over $100 in Canada and the U.S.A. 

Shipping rates on orders below $100:

Returns

All return/exchange requests must be made within 45 days of receiving your order. Please email contact@bedistudios.com so we may assist you with the return process. Include your order number, the name of the item you wish to return and the reason for your return.

We will send instructions along with our warehouse address either in Canada or the U.S.A., depending on customer location. Return shipping is at the expense of the customer.

Once we receive the returned item(s), we will then process refunds/exchanges accordingly. We reserve the right to refuse refunds/exchanges if the item is damaged or soiled.

Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and gentle detergent (preferably biodegradable). Lay flat to dry. Using a steamer on your outerwear piece will remove any wrinkles.

Tip 1: Place your outerwear piece in the dryer on a low temperature for up to 5 minutes to remove humidity and to fluff up the multilayer insulation.

Tip 2: To naturally steam your piece, hang in the bathroom while taking your morning shower.

Grateful coat owner

I purchased the Ansel jacket for my husband for Christmas so he wouldn’t freeze in winter weather and in particular when we travelled to Whitehorse. He is very happy with his Christmas gift!! He didn’t think it possible to feel anything but “cold to freezing” in Whitehorse. He reported he was totally comfortable and despite it being -55, -30 (!!! 😲) we walked 15-20 mins each way to go to dinners, walk about Whitehorse, tour a nature reserve, pose for photos outdoors! He is not a person who enjoys cold weather or wearing hoods or heavy jackets yet found this jacket light weight and comfortable and the hood a lifesaver! When the hood is not being used it’s not bothersome which is a huge bonus for my husband to continue to wear this awesome jacket! He also reports he liked the length of it as it is comfortable when sitting and doesn’t ride up. Added thumbs up - size and security of pockets. The Ansel fits him perfectly. He’s 5’10” and has a large.

Also worth noting, BEDI staff member Ellen has been utterly FANTASTIC in discussing purchases, answering questions and responding to emails! We are very Impressed with this passionate, sustainably minded, ethical Canadian company! :)

I admit I was a bit nervous the ANSEL wouldn't be warm enough for Whitehorse because of the length, so it's really nice to hear that he was warm and cozy, and likes the length! Excellent products and service

My husband and I love our recently purchased coats! Excellent protection in rain and snow. Storm cuffs keep out snow when clearing cars and the fit allows full mobility when shovelling. Great for walking the dog or heading to the office.
Thank you Bedi for excellent value and workmanship. A small detail for your consideration…the flap that covers the zipper inside could be a quarter inch wider to lock it in place better.
For future models, maybe a rich brown colour? Also, incorporating reflective materials for greater visibility would be splendid and for people who already have their coats, perhaps an accessory that has the reflective properties?
Keep up the great work and congratulations on your new B corp certification!!

Thank you also for the feedback on the inner zipper flap-- it's a good suggestion, and I've passed it along to our designer! I'll also suggest a brown colour-- I've personally been loving the brown crewneck this year, so a rich brown coat would tie in nicely!
We've also heard from a few people that a reflective element would be nice to have! We've had some trouble finding a reflective detail material that meets our high standards for durability and longevity, but we are looking into ways to incorporate it as an optional accessory!
