High and Dry and Looking Good!

What more can one ask for? Needed a coat that was long enough for walking the dog in very cold and snowy conditions and it’s like getting in to a great sleeping bag and being isolated from the weather. Had our first real test this week w snow and wind. Plus everyone comments on how cool the coat looks and love the Green color.

Love so much!!

I’ve had my eye on this coat for a few years since I tried it on at the One of a Kind show in Toronto. Ive been wanting to invest in good winter jacket in this length but have been hesitant cause I wasn’t able to try it on all these years later. Inder was super lovely with assisting me via email to determine the right size. The size is perfect and I absolutely LOVE my new jacket. I live in Calgary and there’s been snow on the ground all week with -15 temperature, and I think I was the only person who was excited to be whipping out my winter coat! It’s super stylish and very cosy and warm. Highly recommend! Thank you so much to the BEDI team! :)

Best coat I've ever owned

This is simply the best winter coat I've ever owned. I pulled it out the other day to wear on a chilly evening, and was so excited to be able to wear it again. I've never been excited for cold weather before, so I felt that it deserved a review. This coat is somehow so warm and cozy on cold days, without being too heavy or causing me to overheat on warmer days. I've worn it in -28 to +8 degrees celsius. The outside is much more water resistant than my previous "water resistant" coat. I went for many more walks than usual last winter because I wasn't daunted by the cold nor the damp! The hood protects from the elements very well-- I do find I need a scarf on cooler days to stop the cool air from sneaking in around the neck, but that's expected for most winter coats. I like that the collar is high, but not constraining. I also love that I don't have to dry clean it-- my last winter coat was so expensive to dry clean!

Comfortable versatile cozy coat

Held off writing my review until actually wore my Orsola parka. I Wanted a versatile year around coat for any outdoor activity so made the investment. I Wore it a couple of times while boating this summer (coastal BC waters). In 18 degrees worked great as a wind breaker and was comfy. Length great to cover legs while wearing shorts. Terrific water repellent material. Fantastic hood so my ears were protected from the ocean wind while boating. Hood is very much like Kenny’s from the show “South Park” so can be tricky having peripheral vision, talking or hearing other people as hood extends forward quite significantly but it certainly serves its warming and wind blocking purpose. Once temperature dropped a few degrees to 14-16 Centigrade I felt the cool ocean air through the material and zipper so parka was not as cozy. Not sure how great this parka will be in cold, wet, winter winds if I felt cool in summer temperatures….
I decided parka too nice and expensive so too risky to have around salt water so I am no longer wearing for boating. It is beautifully made. Definitely appreciate the Durable material! Large, strong zipper. Purchased parka as made in Canada, its versatile uses and its sustainably and ethically made virtues. It’s Incredibly comfortable. Roomy for layering clothing underneath. Great high zippered neck line that can be zipped up fully without the hood interfering. Pockets deep and roomy for hands and carrying items. A Super well made and thought out item! I quite enjoy wearing it! Love the length.
